Are your characters based off real
people or did they all come entirely from your imagination?
Imagination and real crosses. People always influence your thoughts.
Do your characters seem to hijack
the story or do you feel like you have the reigns of the story?
They take the reins. Without a doubt.
Every story starts out with a blink of brilliance...that’s how I
think of it. That little blink tells me so much about them, how they
look, act, interact with the world around them. Once that’s
happened I flow with the direction the story takes me. I don’t
decide to murder or harm others, it just flows based on their
influence.
Have you written any other books
that are not published?
Oh yeah! The stories are stacking in
the wings.

What book do you think everyone
should read?
Should or can? I’d love everyone to
read Last Breath. It’s dark and inviting. Not everyone can handle
that though, though I dare them to give it a whirl.
How long have you been writing?
Since 2000 but only published since
2016. I’ve just reached my 2yr publiversary.
Do the characters all come to you at
the same time or do some of them come to you as you write?
Mix of it. Some as I write, some as I
start with their thoughts.
Mother
of two insanely (well trained) sarcastic men, wife to a dangerously
smolder inducing grumble bunny (fireman), and friend to some amazing
ladies (you know who you are). Thanks for reading, thanks for being a
friend, and I look forward to meeting you in the future for drinks,
danger and laughs.
Living
in Northern Ontario, Canada, Kerri loves to read, travel and find new
reasons to write you fantastic love stories. Remember, not all love
is clean. Dark, light, angsty, sexually charged and twisted—that’s
her genre.
It’s
heart wrenching stories where the muse directs her. As the instrument
of their lives, their stories are told piece by piece. You can hope
for the good guy to win, but it won’t always happen. There's no
guarantee of an HEA (happily ever after) or HFN (happy for now),
because life doesn't always have those.
